Robertson Heating helps Alliance church collect supplies for Helene victims

First Christian Church, 1141 W. Beech in Alliance, is collecting items for victims of Hurricane Helene.

Robertson Heating Supply Co. has provided a trailer that will be parked at the church from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Cash donations also can be made. Call the church office at 330-823-6620 with questions.

Items being requested fall into various categories:

General – Water bottles, baby formula, Tylenol, candles, toilet paper, generators, water jugs, baby food, Band-Aids and bandages, matches and lighters, paper plates and bowls, gas cans, flashlights, diapers, anti-bacterial wipes, paper towels, blankets, camping stoves, batteries of all sizes, baby wipes, tissues, dehumidifiers, coolers and propane canisters.

Non-perishable foods – Tab-opening canned goods, breakfast items such as Pop-Tarts, electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade, MREs and juices.

Pet supplies – Dog and cat food, litter boxes and litter.

Hygiene products – Soap, body wipes, deodorant, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine products and adult diapers for men and women.
