Local pet retail business Pet Musings is set to open a permanent location in 12South.

According to a commercial building permit filed with Metro, the location of the store will be 2814 12th Ave.

Pet Musings seemingly will operate from a 10-by-20-foot prefabricated shed, the permit notes, to be positioned on an existing surface parking lot that services the Paris Building. That structure accommodates boutiques Serendipity and King Baby Studio.

Pet Musings is owned by Bobo Cheung, who is a realtor with Kirkwood Property Group. Cheung, who could not be reached for comment, runs the on-line business via her home, with its products found in some local retail stores.

Pet Musings offers dog, cat and "pet parent" apparel, accessories, goods and treats. The business also focuses on raising awareness for rescues and shelters; a percentage of proceeds from each purchase is used to donate supplies to animal rescue shelters each month.

Local real estate investor Treg Warner owns the property from which Pet Musings will operate, having paid $4 million for it in 2021 (read here).
