Chester and Ralphies to open in Unthank Road in Norwich

A new pet shop with plans to offer a grooming service and home deliveries is opening in Norwich.

Chester and Ralphies, which is based in Unthank Road next to the Pear Tree pub, has promised to bring "sustainable" pet care to the forefront of the business.

Couple Amy Beevers and Jonny Bingham plan to open the shop in early July, with a grooming spa, high-quality dog toys and accessories and a pet food delivery service planned.

The pair named the shop after their two spaniels Chester and Ralphie.

Mr Bingham said: "We both love animals and being able to set up shop in Unthank Road is great - the area doesn't have anything like this at the moment."

The shop's eco-friendly pet food delivery service will work by customers ordering inside the shop, with their orders then transported via electric cargo bikes to their homes.

Mr Bingham added: "A big thing for us is the community and we want to create a hub for pet advice and care in the NR2 area, with an environmentally friendly ethos".
