Firefighters called to save dog in trouble; what they find leaves them stunned

Firefighters in Goochland County, Virginia, responded to an unusual call involving a puppy that had got itself in a peculiar situation.

The 10-month-old puppy, named Sky, had managed to get his head stuck in a blue plastic toy belonging to the children of his household.

Sky's owners were unable to free the playful pup and called for assistance.

Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters were met with the odd sight of the curious puppy trapped in the toy.

Fortunately, Sky remained calm, enjoying the attention of the firefighters, who carefully worked to free him from the object.

Once released, Sky was unharmed and happily interacted with his rescuers, who couldn't resist taking photos with the cheerful dog.

The fire department shared the heartwarming moment on their Facebook page, adding a touch of positivity to their often challenging duties.

The rescue was a welcome change of pace for the firefighters, who were glad to lend a hand to the grateful family and their adventurous puppy.
